Getting There: Chapter 16 Part 1

rockerkat asked:

Carson’s POV “I don’t see why you made me pack my suitcase and rush all the way over here.” I grumbled, wheeling my suitcase into Blake’s kitchen. Once inside I saw him and Austin sat grinning at the kitchen table. “What are you guys up to?” I asked, sceptically. “Here.” Austin said, handing over a sheet of paper. “I hope you brought your passport.” he chuckled. In my hand were print out fast track tickets, for a flight to London, England. “Guys, this is just……thank you!” I shrieked, hugging them both. “Let me take you to the airport.” Blake offered. “Your flight leaves in a couple hours, and those tickets are too expensive to waste.” he laughed. “Thanks.” I said, once again. Blake left to start the car and I collected my bags. I felt a hand around my waist, and I instantly knew that it must be Austin. “I really am sorry for everything I’ve caused.” he said, sincerely. “It’s ok Austin. I’m partly to blame too.” I admitted, finally taking responsibility. “Good luck with Joe.” he smiled, giving me one last hug. “Thanks.” I walked out into the cold February night and sat in the back of Blake’s car, thinking over everything in my head. The sorry’s I’d throw at his feet. The begging and pleading to forgive my mistakes. The kisses I’d sprinkle his delicate face with, as I fell entirely back in love with him, if I was ever out of love with him. “Nervous?” Blake asked, looking at me through the rear-view mirror. “Is it that obvious.” I laughed. “Don’t worry. Remember, you and

SurvivorMan (Plane Crash) Part 4

czwartek, luty 25th, 2010

XxxunknownxxX1 asked:

Survivorman is a Canadian-produced television program, broadcast in Canada on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN), and in the United States and internationally on The Discovery Channel and The Science Channel. The show has aired two complete seasons to date - 2004 and 2007 - with a third and final season currently under production and airing.[1] The title “Survivorman” refers to the host of the show, Canadian filmmaker and survival expert Les Stroud, who must use his skills to survive for seven days alone in remote locales with little or no food, water, and equipment. During the filming of each episode, Stroud is alone, and operates all the cameras himself. He is equipped with only his clothes, camera equipment (which he does not use for survival except in an emergency), his harmonica, a Leatherman multi-tool, and often “everyday items” relevant to the episode’s particular survival scenario. For safety purposes, Stroud carries an emergency satellite phone. In one episode, he has also been provided with a rifle for use only in defense against attacking polar bears. However, Stroud has claimed that while filming several episodes, there were times when his emergency phone did not work, leaving him totally alone.[2] Survivorman can be considered a sequel or spin-off to Stroud’s earlier project, Stranded, a five-part series that was shown on the Canadian Discovery Channel in 2001.

JBroxsMyCanadianSock asked:

*Later at the airport as they are about to board the plane, they go through the goodbyes again* JB: Bye Natasha, bye Shania. Shania/ Natasha: Bye guys! *Giving them all hugs again* Natasha and Shania got in line to board the plane and Kevin and Joe started walking back to their car before they got mauled by fans with Nick lagged behind. Just as Natasha and Shania got to the front of the line, Nick turned around and sprinted to them. Flight Attendant: May I see your ticket please? Natasha (handing her ticket): Here you go. FA (Looking at ticket and doing all that junk they do): Thank you. Next please? Shania: Here you — Nick (running up and grabbing her arm): Shania! Shania: Nick? What are you doing here? I thought you had left. Nick: Well yeah, we were leaving but- FA: Excuse me, but if you’re not going to board the plane, please let those behind you go in front of you. Nick (pulling Shania out of line and to a less crowded area): Ummm Shania: Nick I really need to get on that plane. Natasha’s probably freaking out cause she can’t find me. Nick: Uh ya, I know. I’ll try to make this fast. I’m sorry that things got…awkward between us. Shania: Ya, sorry. I should have told you that I…had a boyfriend sooner. Nick: And I wish we could have gotten to know each other better so I was wondering if…I could maybe… have your number? So you know, we can keep in contact and stuff. Not because I want to like, keep tabs on you and stalk you or because I like you because you already told me you had a boyfriend and stuff cuz that could make things more awkward than they already are and then– Shania: Sure you can have my number. Here you go. *writing her number on a piece of paper and giving it to him* This is my home number. Nick: Thanks. I’ll try to phone you as often as I can - I mean, when I feel like it. Or whenever I have time. Not that I won’t call you if I’m busy it’s just that, you know, my life gets to be pretty hectic and — Joe (running up and panting): Dude! There you are! We almost left without you. You’re lucky you have a brother like Kevin who can remember that there’s another kid we have to drive home. Shania? What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be on that plane? Shania: Ya, I was just going. Joe: Gotcha. Nick, c’mon, we gotta go too. Nick: Fine. Have a safe flight Shania. I’ll meet you in the car Joe. Joe: Great. *Once Nick had left* So Shania, one more favor to ask. Shania: Sure. Joe: Umm you know that really pretty friend you have? Shania: Joe! That’s really rude! Joe: What? Shania: What about all the ugly friends I have? Joe: Oh sorry! Shania: I’m just kidding. You have to be more specific here. Joe: You know the one I met? Shania: You mean Natasha? Joe: No, the one I met when we were hiding in the backyard. Shania: Becca? Joe: Is she the blonde one with the cute southern accent? Shania: Ohh you mean Jen. Joe: Ah Jennifer, how I love thee Jennifer. Shania: Wow. So what about Jen? Joe: I was jsut wondering if she had a boyfriend. Shania: Nope. You like her don’t you? Joe (being all sarcastic): Noo. What gave it away? The way I said ‘How I love thee?’ Shania: She doesn’t. But let me just warn you that if you ask her out, Becca will probably beat her up. Joe: Who’s Becca? Shania: The other one that was in the yard that wasn’t Natasha. Joe: *Gasp* You mean that other really pretty brunette one? Shania: That’s her. Joe: God you’re friends are so pretty. Shania: I know. not to sound mean or anything, but if there’s no point in this conversation except to tell me how pretty my friends are, I gotta get on that plane. Joe: Right. Well I was just wondering if maybe you could give me their numbers so I could call and talk to them. PA System: This is the last call for all those boarding plane number 1901 back to Los Angeles. Shania: I’d really like to give it to you, but I really have to go. Ask Nick! I gave him my number. Joe: YOU GAVE HIM YOUR NUMBER??!! Shania: Not in that sense Joe. Now I really got to go. Bye!
